Assisted Stretch Therapy
One on one stretching that helps you move better, recover faster, and feel loose again. Every session happens inside our licensed San Diego chiropractic clinic.
What Is Assisted Stretch Therapy?
Assisted stretch therapy is hands on stretching done for you by a trained therapist. You lie on a padded table and relax while your therapist moves each joint through its range and holds the stretch at the right spot. Because you are not doing the work yourself, your muscles let go in a way that is hard to reach on your own.
Every session is built around your body. If your hips are tight from sitting all day, we work your hips. If your shoulders lock up after training, we open your shoulders. Nothing about it is a routine you could get from a video.
Start With a $30 Stretch Evaluation
Your first visit is a 20 minute stretch evaluation with our stretch therapist. We check how you move, find the tight spots, and show you what a real session feels like. You leave with a clear idea of what your body needs.

How a Stretch Session Works
You stay in your normal clothes. Wear something you can move in, like athletic wear.
Your therapist starts by checking how far each area moves and where it stops short. From there, you move through a set of guided stretches. Your therapist holds each position while you breathe, then eases you a little deeper.
You talk the whole way through. If something feels too strong, say so and we back off. A good stretch should feel like relief, not pain.

Stretch Therapy FAQs
A massage works on the muscle tissue itself. Assisted stretching works on how your joints move. Your therapist takes each area through its range and holds it there, so you gain length and motion instead of just relaxing the muscle.
Comfortable clothes you can move in, like athletic wear or leggings. You stay fully dressed for the whole session. There is no oil and no changing room needed.
It should not. You will feel a strong pull in tight areas, but a good stretch feels like relief. Your therapist checks in the whole time, so tell us if anything is too much and we will ease off.
No. Stretch therapy is open to anyone. Many of our chiropractic patients add it to their care because the two work well together, but you can book a stretch on its own.
It depends on your goals. People working through real tightness often come once a week at first. Once you feel loose, every two to four weeks keeps it there. Your therapist will suggest a pace after your evaluation.
Yes. Packages expire 1 year from the date of purchase, so you have plenty of time to use them.
The $30 rate covers a 20 minute stretch evaluation and is for new stretch clients only. After that, you can book any session length or pick up a package.
Stretch therapy sessions are for general wellness and are not a substitute for professional medical care.
